AARON BROWN

Most of the world knows Aaron Brown as a lead news anchor on CNN. But few know that he began life as Henry Brown (known in high school as “Skip”), and that he spent his first four years in St. Louis Park. 4704 Vallacher, to be exact, from 1948 to 1952 when the family went on to Hopkins. The 1949 St. Louis Park Phone Book lists his father as John H. Brown, President of the G.A. McArthur Co. His mother’s name was Beulah.

Since most of his formative years were spent in Hopkins, the Hopkins Historical Society has collected information about Mr. Brown, and he has come home to speak to members of the Society.
