Arthur W. Smith apparently ran this business out of his home at 7418 South Street (now Edgebrook) from at least 1949 to 1956. It was also referred to as Arthur W. Smith Furs.
The building is a so-called “Walker House,” built in 1890 by TB Walker to house workers at his factories.
