MARC KALMAN

Radio professional Marc Kalman moved to St. Louis Park in 1968, taking a job at KRSI Radio on Excelsior Blvd., where he was an account executive. In 1969 he moved to WDGY, the top rock’n’roll station in the Twin Cities. In 1978 he became general sales manager. In 1980 he went to WCCO, and in 1992 he became general manager of KDWB-FM and WDGY-AM.

Marc was inducted into the Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2002.
