SEED OF ABRAHAM MESSIANIC CONGREGATION

This congregation started with ten families in September 1982 at 43rd and Minnehaha, moving to St. Louis Park in 1985.

They congregated at 9500 Minnetonka Blvd. starting in June 1987.  They now meet at the Doubletree Hotel.

They describe their congregation as follows:

We are a Messianic Congregation made up of Jews and Gentiles from many races and ethnic groups. We worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through His son, Y’shua HaMashiach, (Jesus the Messiah) We meet on Saturday’s from 10 am – 1:00pm We are rediscovering the roots of the Judeo/Christian faith that the entire universal congregation of Messiah and the New Covenant faith are founded on. Our services are a blend of ancient Hebraic traditions and contemporary Messianic faith. We observe the seventh day as Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown on Saturday. We also believe in the present day activity of the Holy Spirit. We are the oldest Messianic Congregation in the Twin Cities area started by Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman and his wife, Rebbetzen Alberta.
