This is a strip of shops built next to the Knollwood Target. Developed and owned by Minneapolis and Hibbing-based Ryan Construction, James R. Ryan Vice President. Construction began in November 1976. In March 1977 it was projected to have a total of 55,000 square feet and cost more than $1.5 million. The property was built in phases: the first phase had 23,500 square feet with seven or more specialty shops.

Applebaum’s Grocery Store: Grand Opening June 1977 – 1981. Moved from inside Target. Also one at Westwood Shopping Center.
Cafe Sabra – food from Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, Israel. Opened December 1977.
Macho, Inc.: 1977-78. Jeans and casual fashions for guys and gals.
Park Music: Opened March 1977. Immediately next to Target.
