This is an apartment building that was planned and built by Robert and Marlys Westling when they subdivided their acreage on Minnetonka Blvd. in the 1950s.
Plans found in the Westling’s barn show that the property was originally planned to be a motel, complete with swimming pool but without kitchens.
The complex, later known as the Victoria Lake Apartments and now the Eagle Apartments, was built in 1958.
