Tax records indicate that this property was apparently part of the Franzen Mfg. Co. at 3333 Republic, at least until 1962. From 1963 to 1976 it belonged to Clarence K Bros, Inc., the probably builder of the present building in 1965. From 1976 to 1988 it belonged to L.W. Edelmann. In 1989, Mark and Barbara Saba bought it for their Midwest Badge and Novelty business, formerly located on Excelsior Blvd.
